Q: WHEN DOES THE RENTAL START AND FINISH?

A: Based on overnight shipping, the rental starts the day you receive it and the last day of rental is the day you ship it back. Any major courier is acceptable (i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL, US Postal Service, etc.) although FedEx is preferred.

Q: Is Shipping Included In The Price?

A: No, shipping is not included in the price. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

If we ship on our account we re-charge at our cost + 15%.

Q: WHAT INSURANCE IS NEEDED TO COVER THE EQUIPMENT?
A: We require an insurance certificate showing HTS Advanced Solutions as the certificate holder and that you are covered for “Rental Equipment” for the full replacement value of the equipment on your general liability policy. This will be in the range of $50,000-$125,000 depending upon which equipment you rent.

An alternative to insurance is to purchase our Damage, Loss Waiver. This is not insurance. It is a limited waiver offering a way to reduce your cost responsibility for expensive loss or damages. Certain terms and conditions apply. Ask you sales representative for specific costs.

Q: WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE, IF MY INSURANCE DOESN’T COVER RENTED EQUIPMENT?

A: You can rent one of our technicians together with the metrology equipment you need for your project. As long as one of technicians is with our equipment at all times it is covered under our insurance policy.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE EQUIPMENT?

A: All equipment is inspected upon return, and you are liable for any damages not attributed to normal wear and tear.

Q: WHAT ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED WITH THE EQUIPMENT?

A: Please refer to the Rental page for accessories that are included with each equipment type.

Q: DO I NEED SOFTWARE?

A: Yes, you will need software.  Each software package has its own rental rate. A laptop is optional as well if needed. Call or contact HTS for more information.

Q: CAN I RENT SOFTWARE?

A: Yes you can rent software from HTS.

We provide daily, weekly, or monthly rental of our software packages via e-license, dongle or on a dedicated laptop.

Q: CAN I GET TRAINING?

A: HTS Advanced Solutions offers a full range of training covering field data acquisition, post processing, and other advanced workflows and techniques (either directly or through our network of partners).

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF THE metrology rental equipment STOPS WORKING DURING THE RENTAL?

A: We provide 24/7 technical support to troubleshoot the problem. If we can’t get you back up and running we will send out another unit, at no cost to yourself.
